2nd Half Sept & 1st Half of October

Looking back few weekends ago, Sept 19th/20th weekend, micahelle and I saw SpamAlot at the San Jose Rep. THis was the first musical show in a series of season tickets we bought. Our plan is that it since it is at 2pm on Saturdays, that we will have the younger kids either stay at kids park or with keegan. The picture of Michaelle and I above is in our semi dressed state before we headed out for our date at the the Theater.

1st Half of Sept & Trip to Napa

Well in the month of september life has continued on with Jack still in soccer (1 more week) , BB is still doing gymnastics. We have been doing some reorganizing in our house, more layout and furniture type of things.
For labor day weekend we were excited to hear from Philip my cousin, that he and his wife would be in Napa valley for a wedding. We discussed having them stop by on their drive, but after talking about it MIchaelle and I decided to visit Napa with family and spend more time with them. We have actually never been to Napa Valley and were surprised what a relatively short drive it is (maybe hour and a half). Below shows the route we took from our house up to Napa.

To Kick off August we celebrated Jack’s 3rd Birthday by going to chucky cheese were there was pizza and video games, and then did the cake and present opening at home.

Wills Trip to Israel

I like Maps to above and below are maps showing the context of were I was on my trip. As shown in map above in addition to a team in Israel, I have a team in Palestine in a special program John Chambers of Cisco sponsors to help bridge israel/palestine divide by ramping up teams in Palestine and having them work with our engineering in Israel.

Second Half of July 2009

Above is Keegan on July 25th his 14th Birthday !! We did Keegan’s perfect day
-- Keegs, BB and I went to poshbagel at 6am for breakfast (and I slept some afterwards)
-- Whole family went to mall and Keegan and we saw a movie and then went to an all you can eat Sushi restaurant (michaelle had Popcorn since she is not a big suhi fan)
- BB/Keegs and I played xbox in afternoon, some new games he got for his birthday (BB and Keegs were adventuring together on the xbox for couple hours while we looked on)
- We ate Indian pizza for dinner and topped it off with cheescake with candles ! Lots of good food.

First Half of July 2009

For the 3-day 4th of July weekend we started off with a good Friday on the 3rd as I didnt have work. We went to Mall and saw the new Ice Age movie in 3D, then shopped at mall, and ate lunch at chinese buffet. In early evening we went to YMCA as family and did workouts and in evening relaxed at home.

Summer VacationTrip to Lake Tahoe

For our Major summer vacation this year we rented a condo for a week at Lake Tahoe with our parents joining us. Michaelle and I had stayed at Camp Richardson in Tahoe last August for 2-3 days as part of a week long car trip around north california and loved it. Our general goal was to swim, rent a boat one day, and generally spend time together.

End of School & Start of Summer

In past two weeks the Kids school came to a close, and also the gymnastics class for Brdiget/Jack came to conclusion. We also took kids to chucky cheese, and Will/Michaelle did a date out.

Last Weekend of May

Friday night BB we took BB to her gymnastics class (2 weeks to her show).
Saturday we went and saw the Move Up which was much better then Michaelle and I expected for us. In the first few minutes they tell tell a story spanning 20 years that made you think about how fast things change. Jack watched the whole movie without any major issues !! He moved to sit into seat in front of us (empty around us) but overall first movie without any walking around type of issues. Really nice step for us as far as getting out of the house with whole family.
Saturday afternoon BB Did her swimming class. She has a lot of activities’
Saturday and Sunday night BB, Keegan and Will played for first time Settlers of Catan(click for wikipiedia description) which we really enjoyed. I believe I read about it in wired magazine and it is being viewed as the next generation world wide monopoly type of game for families and adults. It doesnt have fighting in it, but much more complex then a game like monopoly.

Almost Camping overnight @ Big Basin

We went to Big Basin Sunday afternoon May 10th for an overnight camping trip. Took a little over an hour from our house in south San Jose. Michaelle did not love the drive due to the winding roads. We took highway 9 through saratoga and then down south to Highway 236 through Big basin Redwoods state park.
